Francesca, a brilliant young transgender journalist, goes back to the house where she grew up to celebrate the birthday of her father. I haven't finished the game yet, but I just wanted to say this while I remembered to.

 I let myself get caught by Doug because I wanted to see what his game over was, but I was pleasantly surprised to find he just acts like a normal dog. A normal dog that talks. Now I feel kind of dumb for avoiding him so desperately earlier lol.

EDIT: I finished the game, going through all the endings and I just have to say I loved this game. It was scary but enjoyable. Sorry, I'm not a game critic so I don't really know what else to say, other than that I had a great time playing this.

I've ran into a problem, the save slots will randomly delete themselves and when I die I can't go back to themes I have to start over

Are you playing the browser version? If that's the case, perhaps it has something to do with cache, cookies, or something like that. This is the first time somone has encountered this problem.

Hey, just found out about this game thanks to Phantoms in the Camp which ManlyBadassHero did a let's play on. So I have 10 collectibles- horse, boat, sword, lamp, dog, cat, newspaper, videotape, butterfly, and bird. Where are the last two and do they do anything?

The collectibles you're missing are the music box, which is in the first floor near the first enemy you meet (to the far left, behind some shelves), and the toy mouse, which is in the floor with the mannequins, hidden in one of the holes in one of the walls. The collectibles don't do anything at all!

i managed to beat the game and get past the mother with the library key, i loved the game a lot it was a really fun adventure and its not like any game i've ever played before its amazing i love the detail and all the strange unexpected things that happen and how it gives me that rush of excitement to explore a new place in the game. overall 50000/10 i loved it, keep up the good work

The correct coffin is the 4th one, then you have to speak to the mother.

Very fun game! The noise the doll heads make when I turn on my flashlight probably scared me the most :'D 

I did end up finding one bug that happens when you're outside the building with the black car and the red roof. If you walk to the sides of the house and towards the roof, you end up walking onto the roof. Luckily it isn't a softlock, but just figured I'd let you know! I've attached a picture for reference!

Does the game mode determine the plot of the story?

No, difficulty doesn't affect the storyline. Some monsters are slower and there are less obstacles in easy mode, but that's all!

Here is part 3 of the video!

After completing the game and getting all the endings for the game, I felt that the game was a little rushed near the end of the game where everything about the toy factory gets blurted out by the main character's father instead of the initial pace of the game where the player slowly uncovers what happened in the toy factory on their own. The idea of the doll being the main antagonist of the game is alright but it would be cool if there was more to the story as well. For instance, why isit that the doll is obsessed with the main character, making use of her father's voice to get her to come to the toy factory etc.

*SPOILERS ALERT*

It is definitely cool that the father dies no matter what choice the player made but one question I have for ending D is that why didn't the main character also wish for her mother to come back XD. Would be cool to see her demonic mother appearing in the ending as well XD.

Regarding the changes made to the puzzle that I was stuck at, I actually think its is alright to not leave a hint for the 2nd safe puzzle. For me, the main issue with the puzzle is that I treated the last word "duck" as the answer for the 2nd safe puzzle where if you look at the numbers on your mobile phone when you call someone in real life, there are alphabets corresponding to each digit so I thought that was the answer for the puzzle. Instead of giving a big hint near the safe to help the player to solve the code, it would be much better to somehow hint the player in the library room by saying that it is metaphorical and could possibly be the answer to the 2nd safe code.

I watched all the videos, great gameplay! I reckon the final parts of the game were rushed and the pace changed. To be honest, I changed the plot many times and couldn't decide what the doll was supposed to be.

This is the first game I've made with Rpg Maker MV (I only used Rpg Maker 2003 and Pixel Game Maker MV before) so I still have many things to learn about the software and I'm getting used to it. Still, creating this game helped me getting started with Rpg Maker MV and my next game will probably be longer and better!

Before I start giving my comments about the game, I kinda need some help in completing the game. I am currently at the 76% mark of the game where I have visited both of the fat twins, managed to enter the library room and unlock the entrance to the next floor after giving the worm-like girl a doll. However, I am missing the key to get to the next destination and my suspicions of the location of the key lies in the basement towards the right where there is a room with a safe that requires a 4-digit number code to enter. I have been stuck here for about an hour and I am really desperate to know the code to the safe as well as the way to get to the upper floor so please help :(((((. 

This is an rpg game that is actually quite difficult even for easy mode. The best part of the game is definitely the save function where I can continously save the game at any point of time without worrying about dying and losing my game progress. 

The game has an interesting story about the main character living directly opposite a toy factory with a horrifying backstory behind it and this story enables the creator to use many horror elements like mannequins, dolls, narrow hallways and more to his advantage due to a toy factory behind a place where anything and everything could be present there. The story definitely gets more interesting as you play through the game, going from the history of the toy factory to the main character saving her father who ran into the toy factory to possible alternate dimensions being present. With a storyline like this, many things have been done to make the rpg experience interesting and horrifying at the same time.

I liked the idea of the main character being a transgender as the game involves members of our society that are not fully accepted by the world yet. Also, I believe that it also plays a part in the story and I am already kinda looking forward to the ending of the game as I have already made some predictions as to what is going to happen at the end of the game XD. The design of the characters in the game are also very creepy and cool at the same time.

Besides that, the colour scheme used in the game, the different areas that were filled up with so many details in the game,  areas with their own personality and design, mazes, puzzles, traps, run-and-chase, basically everything in the game helped in making the entire experience feel very complete in terms of the horror element.

Some improvements would be the first puzzle at the start of the game which requested for the birth date or death date of the dead daughter. The date given in the diary beside the safe stated the year 2057 when the actual year is 1957. I don't know if it was meant to be a trick to see if the player paid attention to the introduction of the game at the start but I got stuck at this part for about 30mins as well. Another thing that can be improved in the game is maybe some form of direction can be given in the game as it is actually really easy to get lost in the game. One way to deal with this problem could be to tell the player what is their objectives like "look for toilet paper", "look for doll head" etc whenever the player comes in contact with characters, safes, sewers or doors that require the main character to get items for them as this would better help players to track down what they have completed and what they have not completed. 

To anyone that intends to attempt this horror game, I suggest you guys to remember to save the game frequently while playing. If not, you are probably going to regret not saving the game halfway through playing the game.

The pet duck: a number that looks like a duck.
